21 Oct 2012 This is one of the most amazing nights I have ever had. At Louisa Cr beach in the sand dunes we watched a female turtle lay her 100 or so eggs in a chamber she dug in the sand and we watched her lumber her way heavily bac* to the sea. What an incredible sight, I feel very privileged.
Hi, Friday 28 July 2007: David and Margo are heading off with Matilda the Princess Poodle to do the "big lap" around Oz on board the fabulous bus we christened "NKA" (being either: "No Known Address" or, named in honour of margo's Dad, "Neville Kingsley Andrews"), please join us to follow our antics as we learn the ropes of travelling without a yacht!!! We are therefore now known as MDM on NKA xxx
20 Oct 2012 Alpha our rescue lorikeet who has stubby tail feathers and is therefore known as a "Runner Lorikeet" and spends more time running along the ground than flying. We popped up to Mackay to say hello to Gavin and Kelly and Jai (Tayla was at work).
A visit to Gavin an and kelly and Jai. |

14 Oct 2012 Judy from Tai Chi is heading of to NZ for a holiday and I'm looking after her chooks and peacocks, which will be a lovely thing to do, unfortunately a dingo got one of Judy's female white peacocks and that one had to be disposed of, a terrible incident, but thank goodness, Judy understood.

2 Sept 2012 - Cousin Neil and his Yamaha, Louisa Creek beach and coal terminal, I met the local kids who were busy building a sand cave, next below is my little possum who's name should be Uniform if I was to follow my own ruling of using the phonetic alphabet for my rescued wildlife, but as Uniform is a bit of a strange name, we decided on V for Victor instead, but then found Victor to be a girl so we had to then change her name to Victoria, as you do?
Good sign |
