9th September 2007 Ron and John and Wayne took Margo on The National Trust of Qld Mystery Tour - Car & Motor Cycle Rally (fundraiser for Atherton chinatown) around the Atherton Tablelands - we took Ron's XJ black Jag, added pink feather boas to our belt loops and pink streaming ribbons tied to our sunnies, on the dash of the Jag was the lovely pink feathered flamingo pen that Maidie and Wayne brought back from Las Vegas for Margo!!!!! We were called the 'PINK FLAMINGO'S and we rallied our way around the Tablelands from check point to check point, mainly pubs that is................ and unfortunately leaving a trail of pink feathers behind us???? We came third in the event, but there was no third prize. hmmmph!! A great fun day was had by all. Stan and Sue (Ron's neighbours rallied their yellow FJ holden too - they are lovely people - Gordon Powell's daughter!!!!!
Hi, Friday 28 July 2007: David and Margo are heading off with Matilda the Princess Poodle to do the "big lap" around Oz on board the fabulous bus we christened "NKA" (being either: "No Known Address" or, named in honour of margo's Dad, "Neville Kingsley Andrews"), please join us to follow our antics as we learn the ropes of travelling without a yacht!!! We are therefore now known as MDM on NKA xxx
