28 Oct 07 Cloncurry - we drove around, couldn't find anything to take a pic of, so DB cooked curry! Well, you know. It was yum!!! The Curry does have stuff though, Qantas was conceived in Cloncurry and The Royal Flying Doctor Service was launched in The Curry in 1928. There was also The Mary Kathleen Uranium Mine, now defunct, and the highest recorded temperature in Australia in 1989 at 53.1 degrees c. And we're off again, turning off the Burke Development Road, easing the sheets and heading west for The Isa.
