07 Nov 07 - Camooweal. Cathie Jones asked us to look out for her friend Tracey who was driving into Camooweal (by herself) from Port Douglas today sometime. David and I dutifully waited at the pub and watched the 180km main street (aka The Barkly Highway) with eagle eyes to find a girl who "laughs out loud, is 38 ish and driving a light coloured sedan" - yep, we found her, and of course invited her in for dinner and drinks, she is a lovely girl, and yes, she does laugh out loud!
Next morning, 8 Nov 07 we met a lovely bussing family - Louise, Jamie and 7 yr old daughter Isla complete with dog Bear, cat Ollie and towing a car on a trailer - yay - another busmob - hopefully we can travel together some and forge ahead together in these wild unknown lands !!!!
