03 Jun 2008 - Broome - Quick Quick - David's mate Peter the Engineer from Clipper Pearls picked us up at Gantheame Point in this tender after my work at 5:00pm ish and rushed us out to see the boat Pete works on - she is called "Yardie Creek" out of Fremantle and belongs to Steve Arrow of Arrow Pearls. She is 47mt long and was originally built as a tug boat and is being used currently by Clipper Pearls. She has a lovely leather lounge and all the tv's are flat screens, the dining area for the pearlers is big and white and clean, with a lovely clean engine room and as you can see she lights up like a Christmas tree at night time. It was great to get out on the water, Margo hasn't been on the water for yonks.....thanks Pete.........he also zoomed us past another pearling boat owned by Cygnet Bay called "Windward" and suggested DB would be soon able to be the Engineer on that one - it was only 44mt long !!!!!!!!
