Yay - its my birthday - 49 today and we are in Broome. The best present of all is David - I didn't know how he would get home to me from Cygnet Bay, or if he could, apparently it was a toss up between a lift with the mail truck, a ride with an electrician heading to Broome, and at the enth degree David's boss offered his car to David to get David home to me.
And look what David brought home for me - a pair of seedless keshi pearls from Cygnet Bay - of course - and a beautifully polished mother of pearl shell. You can see the lovely gems there, they sparkle like a silver rainbow. Pinctada Maxima - the largest south sea pearls in the world.......and I have two, and seedless ones - totally natural, completely made by Mother Nature (and harvested by DB's boss!!!!).......but it is lovely to know they are the real thing, no trickin' here. My mouth just dropped open when David gave them to me, I think I even went silent.....you had to be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
