29 June 2008 - Broome - Sunday - Family Day - David packed margo, Tilly and a picnic into the Suzuki and drove us north out of Broome along the Cape Leveque Road and then turning left into Barred Creek Road. The picture shows you how flat this part of the world is, we can't quite get used to no hills around us......never mind...........anyway this is the type of country we're in - flat, dry, red, mangroves and mulga, with the lovely "Black Kite" perched on dead tree branches or gliding gracefully above us and a perfect 30 degrees in bright blue skies. We kept heading north along the Manari Rd, (but not as far as Quandong Point) and found ..........
