07 Apr 2008 - Beagle Bay Church - 110km north of Broome on the way to David's Pearl Farm (yep, on the pindan road) and then 4km in off Cape Leveque Road. It is absolutely beautiful and was built in the 1800's by Monks and aboriginals. It is made of all shell - mostly the Mother of Pearl shell. Tilly felt blessed being inside the Church. If you are Catholic, you will know the 12 pictures of some thingy to do with Christ and the Cross. There are 12 pictures made of shell on the walls in the Church, just a few of them here for you. The alter is stunning and awe inspiring, a truly beautiful place. ummm I know the name of the pictures on the wall now, they are "The 12 Stations of the Cross".
