07 Jun 2008 - Broome Turf Club - The Paspaley Plaza Sprint - yay, the horses are on the track, and poor David has to be escort for us girls yet again.......and.......Margo got a new frock - tangerine - bit of a change to the ususal pink eh !!!! It is a fab day, we took the beautiful Jannah - she lives in the van next door and is a lovely girl with that georgeous Irish accent........you will notice Margo's lovely pearls have been set into gold drop earrings now, and, we were fortunate enough to gain Membership Pins allowing us to get sloshed in the posh part of the Broome Turf Club - it was upstairs with a fab view, all the way across to Cable Beach.......the track was that wonderful pindan....... so the colours are vibrant and wonderful. And the people were great, we had a really good day, a little dance after the races at the track, and then afters, they play two-up at this race course........Margo found a lovely bookie - Neville Hebbard, he was more than happy to take my money each race, but didn't seem to give it back - odd that - he was so delightful though........
