17 August 08 Welcome to the Cygnet Bay art gallery - the lovely oil painting of the mysterious "Stairway to the Moon" was given to us by Steve and Deb for our housewarming present for our new little beach house..............how lovely is that, it was really sweet of Steve to paint it for us and to make margo feel very welcome to the farm family of Cygnet Bay.......... and it does look very becoming in our dining room - nook - corner - um - space.............
And then the trip back to Broome, all good things must come to an end I suppose, and quite strangely margo is becoming attached to this remote place called a farm, and farm life, and communal living - and beautiful starlit night skies, where the silence of the night is an awesome experience, and the ocean lapping lightly outside our bedroom window sets the scene for a peaceful gentle sleep........ and then on the road, just look who we meet............. it is the first time I have seen any sign of life on the Cape Leveque Road (apart from the frilled neck lizard seeking refuge from the fire), so Tilly and I took a vote....... we decided the beast was bigger than us and had right of way on the track.........
