26 Sep 08 - Broome - Reddell Beach - here comes the bride, all dressed in white........... and oh my word did she look beautiful. Tracey stood atop the wonderful rich red cliffs of Reddell Beach and looked like a goddess. She was the most incredible bride and she chose to walk down her aisle (rocky aisle) completely by herself. It was gobsmacking to watch such an amazing woman in an amazing moment in time. Tracey could have chosen many family or friends to walk her down the aisle, but didn't. Astounding......
John and Tracey laughed all the way through their vows, and we all laughed with them, it was such a happy ceremony. And then of course one leans on a lump of pindan to sign the Marriage Certificate doesn't one!
And of course, here is my wonderful husband. Then we all trotted onto this lovely old school bus and trundled down the road to the Broome Fishing Club for a fun filled wedding reception. The food was great, the people were fun and Tracey and John of course were fabulous. Check out the wedding cake, John's Mum made it and brought it over from Brisbane in 2 wooden boxes that John's Dad made !!!!! And then, Tracey and John stick this hilarious bride and groom on top of the cake - have a good look, hope you get a giggle out of it as we did! Now, carefully, have a good look at the vase on the table in front of Tracey and John .......... they tell me that is BLUE sand layered in the vase ............ mmmmm .................dunno .....................but they also tell me they discovered it on an island north of Broome at very low tide, and that if I paid them enough money they would draw a location mud map for me...........mmmmmm..........well ..........does any one out there know anything about BLUE sand and/or if it exists. Help !
