15 Nov 08 Broome - David is home for the weekend and has made a u-beaut mango picker for us. Darn good thing too, as our yard here smells like a bottle of mango wine fermenting what with heaps of them mushing under our feet all over the yard.....yum just love mango. Below the pic of DB is a pic of the lovely Boab flower, they are out again, and there are boab nuts crashing out of trees all over town - with the mango's that is - the nights are very noisy here!!!!!!!! The boab flower has the most exquisite delicate perfume and only flowers for one day, one night, and one day ....... very very lovely. And then below below you can see a rather dark red flower - it is quite velvety to touch but I have no idea what it might be........ apart from very striking and grows on a tree.
