26 Jan 09 AUSTRALIA DAY - - - - - - DAVID'S BIRTHDAY - 32 degrees - so after a slow start following last nights pre-birthday birthday party at Virginia & Pete's place, and brekky with Louise & Isla, we did the nanna nap thing and headed over the road to the "Mangrove" for another celebration - and wo - it was in full swing there - sweeeeet - there was a band on centre stage, everybody wearing Ozzie flag stuff, mums & dads & kids sitting on the grass, AND THEN, there was the fireworks - beauuudiful mate !!!!!!! And such a stunning location for it all.....enjoy...
Janet and her friend Graham (right) were upstairs in the posh part - mmm - we were only in the lower level, with the mossies and so forth, but it was fabulous to be on ""ground level" and DB and I had a beautiful evening and birthday..... yay for my wonderful Husband. xxx
26 Jan 09 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DAVID, and look at what Broome put on for your birthday - half a million dollars worth of fireworks, and they were lit right just there, just in front of us in the mangroves, with Roebuck Bay and the Indian Ocean below and sparkling away......awesome.....
