5 Jan 09 - CALOUNDRA is a great day destination just one hour north of Brisbane at the southern end of the beautiful Sunshine Coast, so DB and I chugged off aboard the ever famous (???) umm ummm ...oh yeh..... "The Caloundra Cruiser" umm boat ....... umm vessel........it was lovely, and they took us to the "Pelican Waters Tavern" for lunch of mushy peas, mash spuds and dried up tasty chops...................we had a beaut day out, and water is always wonderful. And so reads the brochure:

"Experience superb vistas across Bribie Island National Park, pristine sand cays and abundant bird life and discover this waterway's rich sea faring history. Admire the luxury canal homes of Pelican Waters - the coast's newest hot spot and home to Greg Norman's famous golf course." So, hope you enjoy the pics ...... sorry we cant send the sea air over the internet, but it was as always, invigorating and refreshing.

Us on board the "Caloundra Cruiser" on the Pumicestone Passage with Pelican Waters Shopping Centre behind.
