22 May 09 - Port Douglas - and we headed to Des & Jill's to help put the LJ Hooker float together for the Carnivale Street Parade tonight - DB & I have never had the pleasure of doing this before, always too busy working you know luvs!!!! So we had lotsafun laughing out loud with Des & Jill and Nicky & Kylie - we twisted crepe paper, stuck black plastic sheeting to the truck with duct tape, assembled bright cheap and nasty fake floral arrangements and hoiked potted plants up onto the truck, then loaded up the musical stuff for "Peter Allen" to sing and play, a few LJ Hooker banners, more duct tape and all done & dusted - voila - a Peter Allen Float!
