12 June 2010 Swan Point: DB took Tilda and I on a picnic in the "Hospital Ute" to Swan Point. It was really spectacular there, so blue and so white and so so remote, not a sole in sight. We stopped at Peter & Alma Hunter's house at Hunter's Creek, but didn't stop to see the artefacts, maybe next time. Then we headed up a little sandy track to the awesome horizon overlooking the Indian Ocean. We stopped and watched the change of the tide between Swan Point and Swan Island, the ebb and flow is so powerful, it would be horrendous to be caught in that rip! We had our picnic and headed back to the farm. What a fabulous day out, thank you DB, we loved our outing.
