1st August 2010 - Broome - our 18th wedding anniversary and David took us to the best and newest Resort - "Pinctada Cable Beach Resort & Spa" for a very very posh dinner in their fine dining room named the "Selene Brasserie", it was a four course meal named the "Spice Trail" and was of course superb and including pearl meat . But the dealbreaker for me was the white linen tablecloth and crystal glasses. The Reception also 
has the most spectacular pinctada maxima mother-of-pearl shell backdrop which has fabulous lustre and hues jumping out at you.....Even better is that our gastranomical delight was free, because Marilynne Paspaley (who owns Pinctada Resort) sponsers the local paper "The Broome Advertiser" for a photo competition called "A Kimberley Moment" and it was this photo, taken on 21 March this year, that won the prize, dinner for two at Pinctada Resort........yum.....yay for Max!
