03 to 09 Dec 06 Humpty Doo - ...... It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas....... so Margo has been collecting a variety of Aussie bush seed pods & stuff, spraying them with gold paint, adding a red ribbon, and voilà we have instant Christmas!!!! As you can see from the photo's, we have been busy at Humpty Doo, you can see our hosts children Jacob & Olivia hanging their Hand Made by Margo Christmas decorations on their tree, we have also been drying our own mango and the brick thingy you can see was made by Jacob with specific instructions from his school mate on the process - and it worked!!!! After much nagging, DB took Margo to the Humpty Doo Hotel, as it seems it is famous for something, well, it is, once upon a time, a buffalo drank beer from a can there at the bar, therein lies the legend. David has been busy, helping Jamie instal a second air-con into his and Louise's bus, then DB started cutting holes in our roof to put an opening hatch over our bed so we can see the stars at night, with Des and Jamie giving him a hand using the good old ute - again - just like at Mt Isa!!! Nothing like a good ute luv...... Tilly has also been busy, her new feline friend Whiskey spends the whole day in our bus with Tilda................ it's absolutely fab to see her being friends with a cat - yahoo for Tilda!!!!!!
