04 Feb 08 Broome - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAVID again - he's stretching his birthdays almost as well as Margo does! David's Mum and sister and Tilly gave David an hour's ride in a trike over Broome with Charles the pilot. They landed on Cable Beach where Margo and Tilly and Di were waiting and watching - it was fabulous, and also landed south of Willie Creek. He had a great flight and Charles was very informative and knowledgable in his flying ability. DB joined Di and I and Tilda on the beach later for a little pink champagne and bourban, we were having such a fine time that we forgot about time and tide!!!! Therefore, it was midnight before we could get the cars off the beach at low tide. Oops, oh well, that's ok, at least the cars didn't get floated!!
