05 Feb 08 - Broome. At the very posh Cable Beach Club Resort one can find this beautiful Buddha. Her name is Kwanyin or/ Quanyin and she is 3.5 mt tall made of quartz crystal. She arrived from Singapore in five pieces and was assembled on site here. She rests on wood and copper. Mr & Mrs Wen own the Cable Beach Club and allow anyone to visit their Buddha Sanctuary for free, one can also enjoy free yoga classes three mornings per week in the restful and peaceful surrounds. Quanyin has 13 triangles around her base (some underneath the wooden decking) with crystals laid carefully inside each copper triangle. Quanyin is surrounded by gardens, yoga classes are held in an open area, allowing one to enjoy the sounds of nature during class. There is a copper gong there also, of which Margo had to have a bash at!!!!!!
