16 Jun 2008 - Perth ATE - below left you can see two of David's Cygnet Bay sort of neighbours, the fellow on the left is from Mudnunn, just down the road from Cygnet Bay, his name is Vincent and his country name is Ugamoo (pronounced Uggarmoo) he is an Elder and his son is Dominique (country name of Gummoo) – the left handed boab nut carver who sits under the same tree in Broome as Paul and Monica Cox and Matthew Charles ......... so on that connection of me knowing his son in Broome, Vincent invited me to Mudnunn - to his "real" home!!!!! That will be really neat, he can teach me so much - a real Elder, I had been hoping to meet one soon!!! Brian (with the beard) is from Cape Leveque (aka Kooljaman) he and Vincent have booths at the ATE showcasing the talents and cultures of the WA indigenous blackfellas.
