22 Mar 2008 - One Arm Point. Below below left is the company Nissan Patrol. The boss lets David drive it back to Broome for the off swing every second Thursday, (usually with a few back packer shell chippers with him) and then he heads back up to Cygnet Bay on the following Monday with another load of back packers for the next 10 day swing. We took a drive north from Cygnet Bay up 15km to One Arm Point (aka Ardyaloon), you can see the general store on the left, and the petrol station on the right. To buy fuel one must go to the store, buy a petrol voucher, take the voucher across the road to the servo and hand in your voucher. They don't have any cash transactions at the servo. And - they seem to be closed an awful lot - opening for 2 hrs on Saturday and closed on Sunday, also closed for funerals, school functions etc., etc.
