06 Jul 08 - Broome - Sunday - we had a family day doing the markets and an Art Gallery - The Old Broome Lockup - the beautiful boab out the front of the gallery was planted in 1890 in rememberance to a Police Officer who was killed in a riot, interesting to actually get a date of planting of a boab, so there you go, this one is 118 years old, it is said they date back 2000 years - wo .
