21 Sep 08 - Cygnet Bay - check this out.................... whilst walking along bushtracks at Davids pearl farm margo and Tilda came across 5 bower bird nests, and apparently they are 40 years old !!!!! Apparently every couple of years, the bower bird relocates the nest using the same sticks and bits - but in the case of these 
guys, they didn't move far - just a few feet away.......... and these bower birds like green stuff, green marbles, bits of green glass, green seeds and lots of other paraphenalia - green paraphenalia !!!!!! I was lucky enough to catch him on my camera - apparently he is the Great Bower Bird...... so hence ends the bower bird lesson!!! It was really fab to stumble across the nests all by myself in the middle of nowhere, even though all the long termers of the farm already knew about them but hadn't told me !!!!!!
