28 Oct 08 Broome - Red Tailed Black Cockatoo feathers from David's farm, I found them in the bush - way way out in the bush - and the female Red Tailed Black Cockatoo has a yellow/orange/brownish bar across the tail feather (thanks Bev for that info) - the black and yellow feathers are much harder to find than the black and red and either the red or the yellow will make a great Melbourne Cup hat for Broome - as you do - add a little black frock and we're off and racing - to a horse race or to some lunch or champagne or something - hopefully, anyway we shall see - stay tuned !!!! See the hat I tizzied up - hope you like it....

Jigal Juice - see the orangy looking tulip shaped flower (below) - its good breakfast bush tucker - find a good looking jigal flower, tip it upside down and and drink the nectar - sweet as ..... yum.

The beautiful exotically perfumed boab flower - it is silky smooth to touch with stamens soft as a baby's you knowwhat ......and only flowers for 1 day and 1 night and then gone...........
