30 Oct 08 Broome - Town Beach - Janet and margo decided to squelch our way out from Town Beach on a very low tide to try and reach the remains of the "Flying Dutch Boats" that were sunk by the Japanese in World War II. We didn't quite make it before the 9 metre tide turned and darkness descended on us, but we had a fab time sinking in the super duper fine white silty stuff - it took 2 washes to get it out of Tilly's coat - and even then she still left white stuff all over the doona cover !!!!
