10 Nov 08 Cygnet Bay - yay - it's Sunday and DB hears a call on his hand held about one of the cleaning boats having a bit of engine trouble......... poodle and margo race to have a ride on the Mechanic's Boat at the Bay and obviously we tag along to help him fix whatever.......... and of course it gets fixed.........but just to be on the water is lovely, dolphins, turtles, cormorants and that georgeous aqua blue King Sound.

The "Dorado"

The X-Ray barge.
The pump barge.

Atlanta VI - a cleaning boat

mmmmmm after a big bush walk to collect feathers, time for a dip - poodle too of course - add some frangipanni and wo what a beautiful way to relax after our commando activities of under fences on my belly, and over fences.......if you can't get over it.......then you gotto go under it !!!!!!

10 Nov 08 - Cygnet Bay - walkies !!!!! Poodle and margo headed out for our morning constitutional - and - we found a few bits.......... this lovely frilled neck lizard, and two stealth missions later we had collected the last of the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo feathers - located at a secret unmarked corner of the farm.........Tilly has even got the hang of stealth missions and found this red and black feather by herself and carried it all the way home to David !!!!!! Wotagirl !!!!! The Red Tailed Black Cockatoo is no longer to be seen or heard at the farm....... must have moved on - some say the white cockatoo moves in and takes over thereby forcing the black ones to move on. Please let me know if you know the real story.

Ahhhh the beauty of an exquisitely silent sunrise on a poincianna tree............ and then look to the right down David's driveway and there is the ocean - well - Cygnet Bay on the King Sound and to the Indian Ocean - then look to the left from the front of his house and you see the windmills pumping the bore water up to the tanks at the top of the farm. The late evening and the very early morning silence of the farm is a magnificent thing...............thank you for the silence.

6 Nov 08 Broome - here we have a lovely example of a tamarind tree in Bedford Park just beside where we live. And the old heritage listed hardware store has had a makeover to be the Roey pub for the movie Bran Nue Dae .........those set building guys with the movies do a fine job of creating illusions.
