25 July 09 -The Indies Trader IV - One of Martin Daly's Surfing Adventure Boats. Martin's hospitality to us was wonderful, he picked us up and took us to his very posh Surf Adventure boat for drinks and then dinner cooked by his Chef, we sat in the lovely dining room and were waited on hand and foot - he made us feel very welcome and then continued his hospitality by looking after us until we were handed to the Agent for the next part of our journey. Martin showed us a movie he has had made, I think it was called the Dark Seas and it was all about the early 1970's when Australians went to Indonesia on surfing treks - the movie showed some surfing legends and Martin finding and conquering the barrells - it showed the drugs and the alcohol and the adrenalin hit the surf gave them all...... they were and still are surf junkies.

Hi, Friday 28 July 2007: David and Margo are heading off with Matilda the Princess Poodle to do the "big lap" around Oz on board the fabulous bus we christened "NKA" (being either: "No Known Address" or, named in honour of margo's Dad, "Neville Kingsley Andrews"), please join us to follow our antics as we learn the ropes of travelling without a yacht!!! We are therefore now known as MDM on NKA xxx
