31 July 2009 - Phuket - Duean took us and Jason touring - her and Brian are being so helpful and friendly, we all headed way up in the hills 5km above Karon Beach to view the white jade marble buddha - the Mingmongkol Buddha - 45 mt high, the largest Buddha in Thailand We bought a marble tile for a 300 baht donation and put our names on it, apparently the tiles will help to finish off the statue............there were many Buddha's, and you can see from the picture that one of the Monks gave me a good luck woven thread bracelet - lots of things here are for good luck. You can also see a good luck tree, it has good luck brass bells hanging on it. Duean can also be seen rubbing her hand on a huge gong for more good luck........she also rang a bell (honoring the King) for more good luck...........
28 July 2009 - Anybody's Bar in Karon Beach - this is the bar that Brian and Duean own and run, its a go-go bar with lots of girls available for ???????? and even some he/she's or, man-ladies, whichever you want to call them, regardless we three were made very welcome by each and every one of Brian's staff, and nothing untoward at all happened my way!
