21 May 2010 - happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me ! Look what DB gave me - wo - a beautiful beautiful strand, just so elegant and lustrous and fabulous feeling on your skin, everyone should have a strand.............now I just have to get it to Jacko in town to have it stranded onto silk and knotted between each pearl. Ooh I tell you, how is a girl supposed to wait ?
The day started off great at Cygnet Bay and a visit from Unja who came over via the beach from One Arm Point on his quad bike, then balloons and candles and fake flowers in a vase at the office from TEAM ("Tony, Eef, Anna, Margo") PEARL - and from Teresa a fab pink mini tool set, and Sally a lovely fan and from Sarah some yummy hand made soaps...............Then DB finally got me into the old Hospital Ute and we headed for Broome. And waiting there for me was the fantastic Justine with home made cup cakes with candles, and gifts and Zoe and lotsaluv ! Then, it was off to the Mangrove Resort for drinks. And up pops Unja again, but with Jenny and all the way from One Arm Point, and, James and Joya, Bruce & Alison, Johnno, all from Cygnet Bay on a work day, and the lovely Virginia & Pete, Janet & Mick, Dee, Alex, Scotty and two Wwoofers, Justine and Zoe and Charlie and all in all a really lovely birthday thank you to all, but especially to DB... and Tuhi made it for brekky the next day.
